FIRST PHOTO: Batman and Batmobile (Article) - 5/13/2014 2:21:53 PM

I like the suit and the Batmobile.  Like has been said before, Snyder is great with visuals.  Now if he could handle better storytelling, he'd be great.

I'm holding out hope for Eisenberg as a very young Lex Luthor.  Watch "Now You See Me" to see him being the smartest man in any room he's in (almost).  Ramp that arrogance up a bit and he'll be just fine.

Dammit Eldogg.  You beat me to it.

Game of Thrones: First of His Name Review (Article) - 5/6/2014 5:48:31 AM

Thanks guys.  I had forgotten about him from earlier in the season (and last season).  I just let my imagination run away from me.

Game of Thrones: First of His Name Review (Article) - 5/5/2014 9:43:43 AM

I thought it was a really good episode that seemed to go by very quickly.  When it ended, I thought not much had happened.  Then, as I reflected back on what had gone on, realized it was packed with goodness.

I was floored when Lyssa reminded Baelish of their crimes in the past.  I looked at my wife and said "it's been Littlefinger behind everything from the beginning?".  Did not see that coming.

I was almost convinced Locke was Arya's face-changing assassin friend.  The way he moved about silently and killed with such ease seemed to hint at it.  But the ease with which Hodor took him out made me think he wasn't.  Did I miss something telling one way or the other?

Good episode but the lack of Tyrion and boobies makes me agree with the B rating.  I'm sure we'll get copious amounts of both in the upcoming episodes.

MONDO: CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Poster (Article) - 4/4/2014 3:49:36 PM

Just checked the page and they're sold out already.  Too bad.

Mania Review: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Article) - 4/3/2014 8:00:03 PM

Just got back from the 8pm showing.  Best.  Marvel.  Movie.  Yet.

A true to the blue game changer, as has been said before.  I'm interested to see how the tv series goes after this.

Both post credit scenes were good.  Stay 'til the end.  There's a quick second one.

See this movie.  Then go see it again.  If you know anyone who sees movies.  Tell them to see it.  It's worth the time and money.  $17.50 for IMAX 3D and it was worth every penny.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: The End of the Beginning Review (Article) - 4/2/2014 11:22:07 AM

That all makes, maybe, too much sense, WarCry.  I like it.

Did anyone think they wasted a great actor on Brad Dourif's appearance.  I can hear the call now.  "Hey, Brad.  M: AoS wants you to do a guest appearance.  All you'll have to do is sit very still in a chair with a tube taped to your lips.  You won't have to say anything.  We'll have someone else do that.  Then, after 5 minutes on screen, we're going to shoot you.  Cool?  Good."

Mania Review: Jodorowsky's Dune (Article) - 3/24/2014 9:39:28 AM

I'm not big on documentaries, but this is one I'll definitely look into.

Glad you got to post this after your earier troubles.

Oh yeah.  4-4 can't come soon enough.

Patton Oswalt for Agents of SHIELD (Article) - 3/21/2014 4:57:34 PM

Maybe they'll make him Armin Zola's decendant.  He and Toby Jones are probably pretty close in height.

Since it's never been revealed that the Nick Fury of this universe served in WWII, there will most likely be a retcon on Koenig's background.

I'm hoping this is an introduction to the character, in the vein of Bill Paxton's appearance, and not just a "one and done" appearance.  The more tertiary Marvel U characters they can drop into the series will give it more of a 'Marvel Universe" feel and make some of those who have complained of that a little happier.
