Legendary Pictures (Warner Brothers) has posted a quick hello from director Gareth Edwards (Monsters) on the first day of shooting on Godzilla. Though this is just a short tease, I have to ask, is this something you Maniacs like to see? Back in the day it would be set visits on “Entertainment Tonight” or a magazine spread of pictures. Literally they started shooting on Monday and already we have a 15 second set visit. Is this too soon or just the way the world works now?
Personally I loved “The Hobbit Video Blogs”, but they were crafted to be a tease yet entertaining as well. This seems to way too short ad cheap.
I want your opinions Maniacs. Sound off below.
Godzilla features the talents of Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Ken Watanabe (Batman Begins), Elizabeth Olsen (Silent House), and Juliette Binoche (The English Patient) are starring in the film, with David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck) and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad).
Godzilla is slated to open on May 16, 2014, the film is expected to be presented in 3D.
