What They SayComposer virtuoso Yuki Kajiura (NOIR, .hack//SIGN, Petite Cossette, Gundam Seed) absolutely stuns her listeners with a deep, driving soundtrack filled with exotic instruments that punctuate moments of beautiful moods and contrasting tragedy. This 23-track disc also contains both the "Madlax" opening and closing themes.
Includes an insert booklet with lyrics and song titles translated in English, as well as romanized lyrics.
The Review!Yuki Kajiura can't lose! I really did try to find fault in her recent releases and have come up short, as her mastery of expressive, thematic composition steamrolls criticism. From the haunting "cradle" to the operatic shades of "to find your flower", MADLAX 1 delivers a solid dose of ethereal bang for your buck. There isn't much more to say, other than FIND THIS AND BUY IT! This is exactly what a superior anime soundtrack release should be: a standalone treat.
