Maguire Is a Hungry RABBIT

It's looking like there won't be a Spider-Man 4 anytime soon or if there is, it will not be starring Tobey Maguire. The actor has been building a list of upcoming projects with his production shingle Maguire Entertainment these past few months and none of them have to do with the superhero. Variety reports the actor has yet another project coming, this one a new thriller called Hungry Rabbit Jumps, based off of Robert Tannen's spec. Endgame's James Stern is producing alongside Maguire and Gordonstreet Pictures' Ram Bergman. Endgame's Wendy Japhet is executive producing.

Plot Concept: The story
is described as a dramatic thriller in the vein of David Fincher's The Game.

I heard a director was attached to this the other day on the radio. I think he said his name was...You'll Bowl or something. Never heard of him.

I might be lying too.

I'll miss mcGire, but much like the hulk and punisher, and Batman years before them, Spidey is in need of some new creative energy, let's all welcome a change and pray it is for the better.

Agreed, madmaniac. Personally I loved the Spidey films but after 3 with the same creative team I wouldn't mind someone else (just as loving) coming along with a fresh take. Just keep that Quesada bastard far, far away. Needs someone who actually understands the character.

And I Hope of course for ROBOTECH! Tobey needs to leave Spider-man at this point for a new direction for adults hopefully.
