I see a lot of whinging about transwarp.  Didn't anyone hear Scotty bitchin because they confiscated the formulae? That's why it's not being used widespread, the Federation took it.

All in all, I think it was a good followup to the reboot.  People are looking to much to the old series.  Let this one stand alone and it works fine?

Yeah, unless Watson's going topless in this movie, Superman's gonna crush it.

 Read the IMDB entry, Serious.  Karl Urban is in this one and he's hunting down Riddick along with the mercs.  Matter of fact, this is a shorter version of a longer trailer that has Vaako in it.

 That's the problem, Dazzler.  A lot of people are shouting that the new Treks aren't following the old, not being smart and progressive as you say.  The thing is, Abrams' movies do not have its own TV series to build from.  It's its own contained creation.  It only has the 2 hours built for it to show its stuff, so it can't  dabble.  The only vested interest we have in these versions of the characters and this universe is one previous movie, not 4 or 5 seasons of TV content.

I was wondering when this was going to hit DVD.  All of the films released last October have been on the shelves for a while now.  Definitely going to check it out, since I missed it on the big screen
