This trailer broken my flash player :(

Just not feeling this. I think Snyder is going for such a "fresh" take on Superman that we'll hardly recognize the character. They aren't even using John Williams' Superman March music. If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

I prefer this to the Costner version. Lets see a full trailer though, I haven't seen the comic con(?) one, anyone know where or if you can see that anywhere?

I think Spiderhero since Superman Returns wasn't the strongest but used the Superman march, they maybe trying to distance themselves from it.  I too would like to hear it here but a fresh take on things isn't a bad thing.

Just search for it on youtube or google. As far as the music goes, no they aren't using the Williams theme, but Hans MotherEffing Zimmer is doing the score, so we know it will be iconic!! The Comic-Con trailer uses a Hans Zimmer piece from The Thin Red Line sountrack rather than the LOTR music, and it works fucking beautifully. The Comic-Con trailer is seriously where the money is, it gives me goosebumps.

Geez, I can't beleive the complaints here and on other sites.

1) The majority of the general public has no idea that there is a new Superman movie coming. This is a tease to make them realize it's coming.

2) It's a TEASER. Since it is like 10 months away for the movie to come out, all you want to do with the first piece is to make people say "Oh wow, I didn't know about this! I want to know more!" That is why there aren't lots of scenes of action, or lots of characters or various plot points shown. There is PLENTY of time for that.

3) Why should they use the John Williams theme? Lots of people grew up on it and love it and it reminds them of Superman. Well, before that during the 50s "The Adventures of Superman" starring George Reeves was one of the most popular shows. Millions of kids grew up with that show and theme song. I watched numerous reruns of it as a kid. Since everybody knew it they should have used it when they made the Chris Reeve movies, right? Yeah, I didn't think so. They used new music becuase they were doing a completely different interpretation of the character from the old show. It's the same thing here.

4) The bootleg Comic Con footage was better. Well, that was supposed to be for a much smaller, enthusiastic audience waiting for that. As I said above, most people don't even know a Superman movie is coming.

wow superman: the dealiest catch! this movie is going to be a awesome reality movie with crabs, fishing and redneck fisherman lining up at theaters in flannel shirts to see it! count me in!!! (sarcasm there)

I've seen a very rough video of the comic con trailer, just wondered whether anyone knows where a good or the clearest vid is? I actually like this teaser by the way.

I for one am only sort of excited for this movie soley based on the fact that I am not a huge fan of Superman, I much prefer Batman. But I have no problems with this teaser. To me this looks much the same as any other Superman movie or show, I see nothing different here.
