Wow, that was waaaaay too easy !  Thezillaman, you are why commenting on this thing is so entertaining. All I had to do is say something(NOT directed at you, by the way), that  you don't like and BAM !, instant hate.  My point was that, based on just the trailer, it still not worth paying to see yet. However, with Marvels' lineup, I'd buy my tickets right now if I could.

Can we fight about how Superman shaves now?

Good point Makabriel.  How does he shave?  Enquiring minds want to know.

FYI, the more I watch the trailer, the more I wonder what you are all talking about.  The TONE of the movie is darker, but I don't think Superman himself is.  He may have a bit more self doubts about himself and what putting on the cape may do to him, but I still think the goodness of Superman is still there.  I think he may just be at odds with himself.  I think he's just a Kryptonian man trying to figure himself out on an earth world.  So to say Zod needs to be darker because Superman is doesn't make sense to me.  Because I'm not seeing a darker Superman.

He shaves with his heat vision.  In some comics he has used a mirror, in others a peice of Kyptonian metal to reflect the heat vision off of.

The Plot for the Justice League Movie Revealed?

SuperheroHype.

"A few weeks ago, the rumor mill went crazy when it was 'revealed' that Darkseid would be the villain in the upcoming Justice League film. This was never confirmed by the studio and has since stayed a questionable rumor. Today, the same source of the Darkseid rumor, Latino Review, alleges that the film's script by Will Beal will be specifically based on three issues of the Justice League of America comic.

Released in 1980, issues 183-185 were written by Gerry Conway and drawn by George Perez. In the comic, Darkseid is planning to destroy Earth and put his home planet of Apokolips in its place. The story not only contains the Justice League of America but also the Justice Society of America from Earth-2, as the two teams were planning to meet up when Darkseid initiated his plan.

Again, treat this strictly as a rumor for now because not much is currently known about the upcoming film. No director is attached to the project and it remains to be seen if 2011's Green Lantern or next year's Man of Steel will tie into the film, though Zack Snyder recently said that his take on the iconic character would "keep them on course" for a 2015 ensemble film."

Based on the trailer I'd say it's worth my money. But that's just me.

I am a whore for this trailer. Chris Nolan 2016. Lmao.

in the complex world of 2012, its going to be difficult to make a movie, at least one that is inspiring, about a guy who can only be killed (yes, I know in the comics he died,) by an alien rock. Superman, in my limited comic knowledge, is the most powerful super hero out there... at least in the DC world. I remember a column years ago stating that superman was boring because he had no internal conflict. I just hope trying to create one for him doesn't feel contrived. I have an open mind, but not yet hooked by what I've seen.

To be fair Superman has many weaknesses, magic, Kryptonite, advanced technology, having to act by a moral code. All these things can be used against him in some fashion. Like I always said, you can't beat Superman through pure strength and powers. You beat him by exploiting the other weaknesses. Like the time in Lois and Clark where this politician turned the public against Superman and started nickpicking everything he did.

He even forced him to get a flying license since it was the law. Oh and there is the other easy way. Sunproof room and weapon that causes massive damage. Like a molecular destabilizer, without the sun to recharge his internal batteries his bio kinetic shield would be drained in short time. That is how the invulnerability works is his body produces this field which keeps things from penetrating his skin. Anyway saw Hobbit, it was awesome. That is all.
