Definatley liking this tone, Ive always thought that a superman movie has had the potential to be something great. They got themselves some great casting and I think Snyder will do a great job with this IMO. Looks like Supes and Zod will have a epic showdown. I think Tom Welling should come back for JLA if Cavill isnt in. I would just like for Welling to have his own Supes movie someday

  FINALLY some due respect is going to be shown for supes.  DC has just as much potential as Marvel in the movie realm.  Hopefully now the movie studios will show ALL hero movies respect and translate the value and story telling they have with great writing and with all the character developement and drama that comes from comics.  Give us JL, GL is salvagable make it be better next time, get off your ass with WW, and keep moving.  JL won't be a success if you don't make it a work of art WB.  Just sayin'.....

Also I think they need Nolan to oversee the whole DC movie-verse the way whats-his-face is doing it for Marvel....just my two cents

I agree with redhairs99.  You will never top John Williams score.  But after hearing Hans Zimmer on 'The Dark Knight' trilogy, I can't think of anyone better right now then him to take a fresh take and I'm glad to see his name on the credits.

With Zack Synder at the helm, Chris Nolan producing, and a such a great cast...  I am fully confident we are witnessing the birth of the 'Man of Steel' trilogy....

 Actually I think the song is from the Gladiator soundtrack or some other movie like that. I've definitely heard it before tho. But I am looking forward to the new soundtrack also.

I was already excited. Now I can't wait. 

 Once you get past the first little bit all I can say is mind BLOWN!!  Can't wait!!
