based on this teaser i am definetly not even caring to see it i felt bored out of my mine just watching it

It looks like they borrowed from John Brynes take on the Man of Steel. Particularly his beard. In the comics, he would use a chunk of  metal from his rocket-ship. And use his heat and x-ray vision too bounce it off the piece of rocket. That was how he would shave. Plus he's not has powerful has the Christopher Reeve versions. In the John Bryne Superman revamp. He would have too sweat more too get the job done.

 Who said there wasn't any slomo in this clip at comic con?   Everything but the flying sequence was slo mo.  I thought I was watching the teaser for Pearl Harbor.

Wow, just watched the bootleg comic-con footage. Awesome, amazing, and I can't freakin' wait. Comic-Con trailer has "Journey to the Line" by Hans Zimmer (from his score for The Thin Red Line), one of my all time favourite pieces of music. I know a trailer is just a trailer, but there is love in that there film, I just hope it comes through....

And what's with the focus on the beard??  Superman/Clark Kent can grow a beard, so what? Surely everyone's seen the single publicity shot of him in front of the safe door by now, in costume with no beard. Is it that weird to think that Superman might *gasp* grow a beard if he doesn't shave? 

 @jonniej- I'm not sure if someon already covered this, but Superman uses his heat vision to shave...

The comics reworked Supes two decade or so back in an attempt to explain some of his powers around the Death of Superman time. His innvunerability is actually a product of a field of some sort that his body generates that extends around him slightly- which expalins why Supeman's cape gets trashed constantly but his costume doesn't (other than comics mostly being written for guys by guys and the taking the shirt off approach not being as prevalent for male characters as some of the females who are constantly having rips and tears). This explanation was developed in part to explain just how Superman could die as his invulnerability is limited to the amount of energy his cells have stored and the more he excerts his powers the less energy he has for all of them, including invulnerability. Just because he has a form of invunerability doesn't mean though that he is immune from cells aging and dying or he'd perpetually be stuck at the physical age he was when that aspect of his power fully developed. 

 @shac2846, learn how to read, I didn't say I wasn't looking forward to this einstein.  I said the trailer was lame.  Huge difference buttercup.

I saw the bootleg footage from ComicCon and I don't understand why they didn't create a buzz worthy trailer from that footage.  DC still doesn't understand movie marketing at all.

Fingers-crossed for Snyder. Love the guy's visual eye, but if he bones this, it may be the end of his blockbuster era.
