Manga Entertainment UK made a new announcement via twitter today that they will be releasing High School of the Dead there come June or July 2011.

We are planning a June/July 2011 DVD and BD release. Hope to work with #Sentai on the BD.

The Anime Network showed this series as a simulcast this past summer and Sentai Filmworks announced their plans to release it on DVD and Blu-ray, though no dates have yet been set. You can read our reviews of it on our High School of the Dead properties page.

Plot summary: A deadly virus is turning the world's population into walking corpses. While the world erupts into chaos around them, Takashi Komuro and his friends frantically search for a way to break free from the living dead. As the virus spreads throughout the school, how far must they go to escape the infected? Will they escape?

This is about the UK release, of which Sentai does not have any rights to. They only got North American rights. They ~can~ try to work with Sentai on it though in a number of ways.

It's not a conspiracy, as FUNi's Rojas claims.  It's science.

"Tits and ass" tend to travel farther and faster than "creative writing and character development."

That's fortunate for the loser otaku-base but unfortunate for the rest of us.
