I thought MIB III was great fun. I was in awe of how well this new actor (Josh Brolin I think) played Tommy Lee Jones. you'd think they used a time machine to get a young Tommy Lee Jones to play the part.
Tommy Lee Jones himself looked just awful. Has he been sick? It looked like they were plastering hm with too much makeup to hide how bad he looked, and failing miserably.
Took the ol' lady out for something to eat and a late show last night, a rarity for us on a Monday night due to work.
Anyway we caught Rock of Ages and let me tell you we had a blast. Nothing ground breaking but anyone that is a rock n roll fan of the '80s music really really needs to give this a go. The storylines are pretty basic stuff we've seen before but the music makes it really engaging IMO. Plus there are a ton of beautiful women. Malin Ackerman and Katherine Zeta Jones are just gorgeous. Really fun film, pleasantly surprised

other than that just cleavage and skimpy outfits. It's pg13 and too bad too because there's a picture of K Zeta-Jones topless but an arm covers the money shot

I saw Rock of Ages on Tuesday and I laughed through the entire film. I think the critics who gave it bad marks didn't realize that it's a satire. Tom Cruise channeling Axel Rose was a hoot and the part with the boy band was hysterical. The fashions and hair were so true, and so funny. It didn't hurt that I knew every song. I had a great time and I agree, anybody who remembers the music scene in the '80s needs to see this film.
Hanso, there are no bare boobs but there are several scenes in a strip club and that scene where the reporter chick skivs down to bra and panties so there is PLENTY of T and A in the movie.
And Tom Cruise can SING! Who knew? I have to get the sound track.
It did start out a little slowly, but once it got rolling, it was great. And really, a monkey dressed as Idi Amin?

The only movie that came through fully, for me, so far was The Avengers. Prometheus was second, and I liked it, but after that it's a far cry to third place, which I'll give to MIB 3 for apologizing quite well for the second MIB installment. Now... The Dark Knight Rises? I have a feeling that's going to kick all of these to the curb.
