To whom it may concern......

Finally figured out who, Bane's voice sounded like....

Dark Helmet from Space Balls....

Just go youtube it and tell me I'm wrong, lmao!!!!!

ripum853 7/30/2012 7:49:45 AM

I considered that Bane sounded like Adam Sandler's annoying high pitched voice at times.

That aside, I loved his character, loved the movie.  I loved it even more on a second viewing, as I was able to comprehend some of the plot points a bit better; like the whole Daggert thing in the beginning.

And yes, there are some plot holes; but the emotion, the slow approach at times, and I was at the edge of my seat for the last 2/3's of the movie.

I still liked TDK better, but this was still incredible, and a great way to close the trilogy and make it a complete story.

Kinda Spoiler:

Michael Caine at the end in tugged some strings.

Yeah I almost lost it when Caine poured on the tears.

Batman vs. Avengers. DC vs. Marvel. It's wasy to WANT to compare the two movies. They're both comic book movies, but that's really all they have in common. Nolan's Batman was as reality-based as possible (for the story about a guy who dresses like a bat and beats up bad guys). Joss' Avengers was created as a pure comic book movie. They were both fantastic movies and a whole lot of fun but apples and oranges.

I saw TDKR for a second time this weekend with some friends who aren't Batman fans but have liked Nolan's movies. Yes, there were plot holes. Very few movies don't have plot holes, and comic book movies have more than their fair share. In the end, does it really matter? The movie was entertaining and a nice finale to the trilogy. Going forward, I'd like to see a Batman that's not so "realistic" or dressed in armor that makes it difficult to see the bat on his chest.

I'm looking forward top TR.

I agree with a lot of you guys,  both movies were awesome in their own ways.  I saw both twice, though the Avengers I saw in 2D the second time, and even though they are both comic book movies they couldn't be more different.  It really is apples and oranges.  But, it doesn't matter because in the end we are the ones that win having been blessed with 2 of the greatest comic book movies ever.  I'm not going to say which one I liked better.  I will just raise a toast and tip my cap to both films.

To each their own of course, but I just don't understand how one really enjoys BB but then says they hated TDK.  It just doesn't make any sense to me.  I can only wonder what color the sky is in their world!!  LOL!!

momitchell7 7/30/2012 10:42:19 AM

I'd like to know what "plot-holes" everyone keeps talking about in TDKR... I thought this movie was completely epic and tied together each of the three movies so well (especially BB).

I agree about not being able to compare TDKR with The Avengers. Unbelieveable, yet fun vs believable and gritty as hell.

Elbaz, when you said "no excuses"... come on man, I think that is completely in bad taste - how short memories truly are. OF COURSE that horrible tragedy is a factor, not an "excuse".

I can't wait to see what Nolan plans to dio next! Aside from producing Man of Steel, does anyone have an inside track?

As comic book movie fans, we should be rooting for each movie to make as much $$$ as possible.  Who gives a crap which movie makes more $$$ (oh, that's right, all of you do).  :)

I liked Avengers more than I did TDKR.  (There, I said it.)

I liked TDK a lot better than I did Avengers.  (There, I said that, too!)

And I wouldn't care at all if Avengers more than doubles TDK at the BO.  :)

dalgoda 7/30/2012 2:02:32 PM

I couldn't agree more millean, the more money these movies make the better.  I should learn to ignore
CrazyCEO, he is just trolling.

I hated TDKR... Predictable pile of stink. Nolan had so many chances to make this worth while. Evryone loving this movie should really have their eyes checked and their brains serviced. This was one lame ass film.
