Despite The Lego Movie falling a mere 37 percent at the box office it still took the box office this weekend. Apparently nobody really cared about Pompeii or Kevin Costner’s 3 Days to Kill. The Lego Movie, in just over two weeks, has taken in $183.2 million. The sequel was an obvious lock and arrives May 27th, 2016. I was a little excited to see Pompeii until I saw that it was a Paul W.S. Anderson film. Sorry Paul, unless you are doing a Resident Evil flick, I’ll wait for Netflix.

Saw Robocop tonight and was very pleased...i hope more people give it a chance.

Unless forign box office helps this Robocop is done.

Monuments men was good stand alone movie.  I think you can tell Murry wanted to be funnier in the movie but held back.

I still don't get the Frozen appeal, I saw it and it was good, story was meh.

Glad Lego is ruling still, they announced a May 2017 release for next one.  I wonder why it will take that long to make?  And they are rolling the dice on a summer movie.  I can't imagine they will change the formula for the movie, probably going to be a meh remake to play it safe.  I heard Simpons will make a Lego ep also.  I hope Weird Al does a music video in Lego.

Everything is awesome! Loved the Lego Movie but can't seem to fathom a sequel. It had a nice ending.

Then again, I never thought Toy Story would have a sequel and that turned out pretty good. Lego Movie is this decade's Toy Story.

I went to see "3 Days to Kill".  I liked it, however it was marketed way different than it actually was.  I'm glad Costner is back, I liked him a lot in this role.

Caught Robocop between shoveling sessions this weekend, and it was very well done as a reboot.  I was never jarred out of the moment, and the action scenes were pretty sweet.

The movie I watched that I really enjoyed the most in quite some time was Odd Thomas.  Very inventive adaptation, with a great eye toward pacing the movie without any large lulls or gaps in logic.  Anton was perfect for his role, and Dafoe managed to get his character across with ease.  I was most interested in seeing how the bodachs were rendered, and they were cool as ice.  Too bad that with all of the distribution problems I will never see a sequel as some of the follow-up books were even better.

Saw Lego last night.  It was good.  I could definitely envision a sequel considering the way they left it at the end.

Took the kids to see Lego movie. So they were able to get Anthony Daniels and Billy Dee Williams to voice their Star Wars characters, but not Harrison Ford? Even though he's going to be in the new Star Wars movies? It would have been very cool...I guess he's too big for Lego movie voice-overs.

I thought that WAS Harrison Ford in there.
