The new Terminator films are going to blow our minds. I can already see in these storylines the possibility of viewing the original sending of Kyle Reece and Arnie to 1984. Then we will also get to see the T1000's being created as well as it being sent to kill a young John Conner in the 90's. Then the T-X being sent along with another T800. It's going to be very clever time travel story telling ! Brilliant !

I must say I didn't have a bias against him in the first place but after reading this article my confidence is with him now.  It sounds like he knows what he's doing.  Makes perfect sense to me.   I can't wait.

Didn't  McG say Robert Patrick would be a scientist dealing with cell regenaration or something?  I think I read that somewhere.

I have high hopes for Terminator and from the trailer at least you can tell it's gonna be better than Terminator 3.

I would rather have McG direct Superman than Singer to do a sequel.

On a unrelated topic, I saw the workprint of Wolverine.  I want to say a quick thing to clear up some stuff that I see gets brought up in every Wolverine thread.

1. Cyclops never meets or even sees Wolverine in the movie.

I want McG nowhere near Superman.  That being said, I don't want Singer back either.

I never really had any doubts about mcg directing Terminator. I'm sure the franchise is in capable hands.

20,000 Leauges under the Sea is what interests me the most. I am especially curious as to how the naughtalus will be designed. I remember a 20,000 tv movie from a few years ago that had the naughtalus shaped liked a giant sting ray. That was cool.

Cluck Cluck Cluck goes McChicken.

This guy should be a Senator or Congressman the way he doesn't answer questions.

Will any of the original cast be in the movie? Answer: Micheal Biehn is very important to us and I talked to Robert Patrick last night.   Um....yeah...see, that doesn't answer the question McChicken.

Tate asked  him that question twice, first he asked about Arnold and got a nothing answer then rephrased the question and still didn't answer it.   He answered the PG-13 question the same way a while back thus meaning yes it will be PG-13.

Move over Uwe Boll.  There is a new director in town!

SgtTechCom 4/2/2009 12:42:36 PM

Well we already know the answer will we see Arnie? Yes on Roland Kickinger's body. The point is to make him look like the Arnie from Terminator 1 "1984". We'll get his voice too.

Robert Patrick and Biehn popping up would be insane. I think we are in for alot of great surprises and twists.

At least he had the balls to tackle making this movie and more to come !

Looking forward to this. Never had any doubt of  McG despite his resume, hopefully he won't let us down and judging by the trailers I don't think he will. Obviously the studio believes in him just going by the projects that his name is mentioned with. I think I'd like to see his take on Superman going by what he said.

AMiSHPiRATE 4/2/2009 6:39:46 PM

Not sure I can agree with you on wanting to see his take on Superman, Wiseguy.  The description he gave is the cookie cutter description every studio is giving for every upcoming superhero movie.

Hanso...YOu should be shot for watching the wolverine workprint, why? Because first of all that means you illegally downloaded it from who knows where and Second, you spoiled your watching it with fresh eyes on the big screen...I do thank you for clarifying that Wolverine and Cyclops never meet, that alone should shut peoples pie holes up who felt the need to complain about it....

Hobbs...Just STFU already...Try connecting the dots you stink pie...He mentions "Michael Biehn is important to us and I was talking to Robert Patrick the other night", you know what that tells me? it tells me that he is either one considering having these two in the movie or they are in the movie, he just says it in a way that does not give to much info away...As for Arnie, he makes it pretty clear that they are going to CGI his face onto the body of the actor that is going to play the role of Arnies terminator...Get a fucking clue dingle berry...

Move over Ass wipe...There is a new Ass wipe in town!
