Our good friends at Mezco Toyz have supplied Mania with an exclusive first look at the 18 inch Hellboy figure form the Hellboy 2: the Golden Army series.
Mezco returns for round two of Hellboy’s big screen adventures. Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, written and directed by the Academy Award Winning director, Guillermo del Toro. This monstrous large scale figure stands 18inches tall features action-packed poseability and dynamic detailing from Mezco’s award winning design team. Hellboy Features over 12 Points of articulation. Includes: Coat, Samaritan hand gun & Big Baby Gun shotgun. Ships the end of June 2008 and will be available at finer retailers around the globe.

Robert’s thoughts on the 18 inch Hellboy: I saw him at the 2008 Toy Fair and WOW. He reminded me a lot of a Sideshow Collectible. The details of his outfit and weapons were amazing yet it was his face that really sold me on picking up one of these guys. Getting two would be sweet and using them as gargoyles.

I loved what they did with Hellboy 1, I loved what they did with Comic Hellboy, and I love these! If Mezco makes it, I'll buy it! I read about their Hellboy roto busts and I want those too! Also, I can't wait to see what they will do with the Spirit!
