Wise, where do you hold mass brother, so I can come and pay my respect to the master of cinema with you? A religion that Al Sharpton would even sign off on lol I'm thinking or maybe not, anyways...

I don't know why I am surprised by the interviews you guys have had here lately, would expect that from cinescape but not mania, very cool to say the least though...

I am a bit surprised though that Spielberg sat down with you guys then again I should not be, you guys use to interview everyone under the sun that had anything to do with movies, Sci Fi and Fantasy to be specific but this is very cool indeed and loved the questions you asked him...

It's a good thing Daniel Day Lewis decided to do this cause the only person I know that can make a movie of this certain nature and topic and have it be done in a way that treats the material and story with a certain amount of respect and love for the main character can only come from Spielberg and if his thought was not to make it if Mr Lewis dicided not to do it, would have been tragic and even more tragic had some other director dicided to make it themselves, as it turns out we get a Mr Lewis and Mr Spielberg movie, go figure ha, one of the greatest directors of our time and one of the greatest actors if not the greatest actor of all time making a movie together and I can't think of a better project for them both to work on...

Great Interview Rob, keep em coming

Would like to see an in depth interview with Ridley Scott if you get the chance, that would be awesome to say the least....

Looks like he got on the Bandwagon after getting a whiff of the Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Movie! Now we can expect the next movie to be Abraham Lincoln: Cyber Patriot. It's the story about the Ghost of Abraham Lincoln inhabiting the body of a 22nd century Cybersuit via the typical happy lab accident gone wrong. Then he dispenses justice the best way he knows how. I won't ruin the ending for you though, but let's just say the good guys kick some serious butt!

@Jedi4shield...Speaking of Lincoln vampire hunter, I just watched that for the first time last night through On Demand...I had no plans on watching it cause the trailers in all honesty turned me off, so my expectation when watching this was on par up through the first half hour if it, kinda borring to say the least, that was until the first action sequence came up in the movie and then I was hooked for some reason cause in all honesty is was not that great of a movie or well executed in my opinion but every time an action sequence took place it was great to watch, especially the action on the horses...

They took a few liberties with the vampires, changing things around a little, like allowing the vamps to walk in the sunlight during the day, and I did not like that but once again it was the action that caught my attention, but then it was gone again once the borring crap started up...

You can tell that Tim Burton was a producer for that movie, he never changes his style up like a true artist does, always evolving in that particular craft is a huge part of being honest and true and Burton found an artistic style that has become his way of just getting done what needs to be done, it's called co operative lazyness with all those people he works with on every movie, I think he would blow up like a vamp in the sun if he had to think outside of his box, it's to bad too, some of the best musicians, actors, directors and anyone in general who has amazing ideas in this world will never get discovered and never have a chance to show who and what they are about, makes me mad to see guys like Burton getting all advantages but never do they bring much of anything fresh or new to the table, ya he was on his game in the beggining but he got old real quick once it was learned that every thing he does is exactly as it was in the movie before and that would not be all that bad but I feel I have seen every Tim Burton movie even if I had only watched his first two movies alone, of course I have seen just about all of them so I know this guy can't change his style, even as a producer for someone elses movie he still drags along the same concepts and ideas into the creative session and then it shows in the final product like in did in this Lincoln vampire hunter...anyways...

Yeah, Hook was awesome.  I'm with Violator.

He's gonna do good and bad just like anyone else.  But he's a visionary director, which makes him awesome.  I think he'd make a good Star Wars movie.  Hopefully he makes another Indiana Jones movie.

 You re-run a 2012 article?????? 2012???? Slow news day?

blankczech 2/2/2015 7:40:56 AM

smoke62...All of the interviews posted today are old.  The Aquaman interview is from 2009.

I was gonna say something but Wiseguy pretty much said it already.

I'll give Spielberg a pass on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.  That wasn't his fault.  He didn't like the idea about putting aliens and archeaology together but old man Lucas put a gun to his head and made him do it since he owns most of the rights.

Can't wait to check this out. Is it a reboot from the one he did in 2012?
