I wonder what his reaction was to that South Park piece on him?  His love affair with Jonnie Depp?

Should've ask him what he thinks of Kevin Smith...THAT would've been funny.

I think his best work is always when he touches worlds of his own but when he deals with already existing universe, he tends to mess those up pretty bad (Batman, Dark Shadows, Willy Wonka, etc...).

His Batman was great! I still think his Batman was the best of the bunch so far. I agree some of his work really has sucked. Planet of the Apes was terrible! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was not good at all, and no where near as good as the original Willy Wonka!
