These sorts of list are always going to be a case of personal preference - but I think this is a great representation of Pixar's quality of output.

I know people who consider The Incredibles and Wall*E to be some of the poorest animated offerings of recent years because it doesn't contain the fart-gags you get in Dreamworks' Shrek. But these deserve the top two slots because they transcend the Western stereotypes of animated film and they have something to say.

A great list!

I still haven't seen Up, but Ratatouille struck all the right chords with me, even more so than WALL-E. That being said, I kind of think Ratatouille should be 3, Incredibles 4, and (only based on what I've heard) Up 2nd. I have no issues with WALL-E in the top spot.

A tough list to decide on but my top 5 are definitely Up, Monster's Inc, Finding Nemo, Wall-E  and The Incredibles and I just cant figure out which order to put them in.  I am most torn for the #1 spot...for me it would be either The Incredibles or Up and I think I am actually leaning more towards Up.  It just seemed to capture emotions that I never thought a cartoon could.

Regardless, Pixar has never made a bad film as yet and always find a way to amaze us all with their brilliance in storytelling and animation.

Pixar is most awesome but I'm not a fan of Wall-E.  My fave is Toy Story cause it had the Buzz Lightyear that thought he was real, I like that Buzz better than the one that knows he is a toy.

Kudos on showing the love for Wall-E.  Too many people on here don't seem to appreciate it.  I would have put "Monsters, Inc." higher up on the list though...the concept of monsters under the bed just working 9 to 5 and being afraid of kids is just great.

personally i don't like the cute animal movies.started watching NEMO and gave it a 5 out of 10.THEN ellen ,dorie, pops up and the rating went to a 10 of 10.

loved incredibles.thought it was great. JAK JAK ATTACK was even better then the main movie.

Agree with Dangermouse.

The Shrek movies, funny today, will seem outdated and very ho hum in 10-15 years from now with its pop culture references, star power voices and fart jokes. The Pixar movies will be classics in years from now and I'm sure my grandkids will enjoy them more than the Dreamworks movies.

Putting this list together must have been a pain in the butt as they are all good movies. I do agree Cars is the weakest of the bunch but it's still pretty good. I would defnitely take a "weak" Pixar movie like Cars over family films of today like Marmaduke, Garfield or Planet 51.

Pixar rules. Plain and simple. I had all of the DVDs but recently sold them to get the blu-ray versions. And the Pixar blu-rays are the best ones out there. Now if only they could release Incredibles and Finding Nemo....

Ratatouille is perhaps my least favorite Pixar movie (and very low on the list for movies in general). I'm glad to see Incredibles is at least number 2. That one is my favorite Pixar film.
