"and that guy over there was playing galaga and nobody noticed."  "seriously, am i the only one who did any reading?"  love RDJ, love the Hulk, loved the whole thing.   Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!  I need to watch it again to hear the lines after the funny moments.  i knew Hulk said something after the Loki throwdown, but couldn't hear it from all the  laughter, mine and others.  From these posts though, i gather it was, "puny God?"  is that right?

Just saw The Avengers and man was soo disappointed, too much action, sound was way to loud, really don't get people dressed up in tights fighting what?? aliens??  SYKE!!!!!!  Just kidding the movie was Fu*king EPIC!!!!!!

Left the theater grinning from ear-to-ear.  YOU MUST SEE THIS MOVIE.

I've been married for 19 years and dated my wife for 6 before marrying her...25 years of movie going.  Never have we gone back and seen a movie twice.  As we left the theatre, she told my boys and I..."We're definately coming back to see this again!"  My response:  "Just say when!"  Planning on going again tomorrow after church!  Yipeee!!!!

I am truly stunned by Avengers, saw it 2 x on friday(midnite show and later on) I usually dont like to use profanity here but........OUT FxxKING STANDING!!!!!!!

The only thing I need to know is, were there any Easter egg's?

Cause if there was, I missed them, lol.

Wiseguy 5/6/2012 6:44:58 AM

DarthoftheDead I do remember reading either Whedon or Feige saying there weren't any easter eggs. I think their thinking was to not add anything to a movie that was already packed with everything we could want.

Of course there are some that consider the mid-credit scene an easter egg but I don't think it is, that's more like a cliffhanger if anything

I know 50 years ago characters like Ant Man and Wasp were original Avengers. I just wonder how lesser known/popular characters like Ant Man and Wasp will be received by todays audience and if they are strong enough characters to support their own film?

Saw it Friday & will probably see it again today.  It was great.

Jedibanner my guess is that was Thanos since skrulls are green... of course, I didn't think Thanos was pink so there is that.

Is it just me or was that not the fastest 2 1/2 hours ever?

Wiseguy 5/6/2012 10:09:44 AM

Agree XeroWarp, especially the first time
