I fell asleep during the show. The first half. You can really tell that there were two separate writers for the first and second half. The second half had more heart and story, while the first part was boring and lackluster. Together, this episode got a C minus from me. I wouldn't recommend this series to anyone right now.

I had to get over the look, but overall I thought it was pretty solid. I thought the CGI had more of a cheap Pixar look to it than an improved late 90s look, but that may just be semantics. I'll most likely tune in again.

I enjoyed it. Animation aside nothing beats a good story and the people behind this have done a good job. I agree with the author I was thinking the whole time wish the movie had been this good.

The animation will hopefully get better. Have any of you seen the promo art for the new batman cartoon?Bruce Timm is overseeing that one but it is also a computer animated style similar to this.

Samson, man I couldn't disagree with you more. Hal has never even had a chance in the spotlight. He was used in the superfriends cartoon but could have easily just supported his own show or toyline he never got the chance. Other than DC direct to video animated Hal hasn't been used. John Stewart got a ticket to the biggest show JL and JLU and I know a lot of people were bummed that Hal didn't get a chance there either. Plus I read an interview with the animators on newsarama where they said if the show gets a second season pick-up you will definitely see the other lanterns so you'll get your wish hopefully. The animators where especially interested in Guy Gardner since, other than brave and the bold, he has never had a go round in the public eye. It should be interesting. Hope Green Lantern builds steam when it launches.
