"Is there anything Ang Lee can’t do?" Yes, make a good Hulk movie.

I liked Ang Lee's Hulk much better than the Norton version, personally. Although Lee's Hulk had a bizarre WTF? ending and Norton's one had a cool giant-smash-boom ending, so there you go.
Congrats SmokingFrog77, I think you are one of 3 people in the world that liked the first Hulk better. I liked it a lot more than others seemed to, but I still liked the second one much better.
Two Thumbs up DarthBob! You beat me to it. "Lee's Hulk Not Smash. Lee's Hulk SUCK"
Comic panels on a movie screen - LOL
Man I love Lee's Hulk. I thought it was a great story, yeah the Absorbing Man and Hulk getting bigger didn't work too well but otherwise I thought it was excellent. Marvel's version was better but not by much IMO
Life of Pi is such an excellent book that once I heard Lee was directing it got me excited, then when I heard and saw the 3D and amazing cgi I just can't wait but unfortunately I have to wait til tomorrow
I too liked Ang Lee's Hulk. I think I liked both Hulks about the same. I think Ed Norton made a slightly better Banner though and I liked Tim Roth as a villian over Nolte, but other wise I think Ang Lee's cast was much better. As a veteren, I just couldn't take William Hurt as General Ross, he's a good actor but was miscast I think. He looked extreamly sloppy in his uniform and maybe even out of regulation. Sam Elliot was an excellent choice and way more believable in the role to me, if I recall correctly he even trimmed his moustache to military regs. I also prefered Jennifer Connoly to Liv Tyler as Betty.
As far as Life of Pi, that movie wasn't even on my radar until recently and now I look forward to watching it.
Man some of you guys are soo deep. Bashing a great director for his Hulk movie which I also think wasn't that bad at all. I agree with Wiseguy, the Marvel version Really wasn't THAT much better than the first one.
Anyways, this review has my interest up a lot more of Life of Pi now. Sounds very interesting.
Ang Lee's Hulk is garbage, even Ang Lee himself is disappointed by it.
Anyway, gonna try to check Pi out tonight.
Wow. Will have to see this now. Thanks Rob, you always write the best reviews, and you convey something deeply evocative about this film that I have to see. An invitation to marvel....
