Sucked!!! That's is all!!

My kids love these movies but the wife and I haven't been impressed by any of them. The biggest problem is they haven't been scary. That was also an issue with last week's Sinister but it at least had an interesting story we thought.
I never have watched any of these films on the big screen. They just don't seem suited for such a venue. I enjoyed the first for the novelty. Skipped the second. Really disliked the third. And, if I'm in the mood at some point when this hits DVD, I might be inclined to give it one more chance. It is what it is. Better than the Saw franchise that haunted theaters for much too long.
To me something like the new Bond is worth the theater experience. This just doesn't make me want to dig the coin out of my pocket. But, I'm sure it appeals to bored teenagers who have this or the mall.
I wonder if they really intend to wrap up the storyline at some point? Will the coven be exposed? If this follows the previous pattern of the other films SPOILER the good guys will have to lose again. But, that is pretty much expected I assume.
None of these ultra low budget scam movies have been scary. Some of the fake audience reaction promos were shot at a theater nearby.
So Silent Hill Revelations gets a D...and this got a B?!? Exactly how was this a better movie?!? Same old scares, same old camera style, lack of story momentum, and huge plot holes...yup, I give it a proper D-.
I love these movies. I am there.
