Thanks DaForce. I hadn't planned on seeing this in theaters but the great commericals that have been running and your review (sorry Rob) makes me want to put this on my list.
After I see Expendables 2 though.

There is actually a fart or poop joke. When he tells his friend not to go into the stall.
Stormrider, actually he says 'Give it a minute.' before flushing the toilet. Which wasn't a poop or fart joke, it was in response to a disappating ghost.
I'm so there. Glad to take the kids to see this one.
I loved the trailer with Donovan's Season of the Witch song. I think I was the only "old" guy in the audience that was digging it.

Wow, this review doesn't do the movie ANY justice. Forget Burton's tired, crappy worlds that he's been rehashing since Frankenweenie (which is coming out yet again), and forget about Sellick's (not Burton's) The Nightmare Before Christmas of which this movie has no resemblence (other than also being a stop-motion animated movie). This is a neat little movie seeped in the horror movies of the 50's-80's...but with a few modern twists. Easily one of the surprises of the late summer for me, and probably my favorite animated film of the year so far. The jokes aren't juvenile and there are zero fart and/or poop jokes. If you do go and see it, stay through the credits (which are nicely animated concept art) to the end to see a nice little surprise.
