I'm sorry, but I'm a hypocrite.  When you expect great things from great film makers...it is one thing...however, this review inspired me to rent PDD on Amazon.  

I enjoyed the first one for the T&A plus bloodbath that it was, but I Rob, I want you to know you have my deepest sympathies for having to sit through this one...

 I saw the first one in 2D (sad face.)  

After all the talk, I've come to the conclusion that it lacked in the solid DD department.   However, that said, it did deliver in the full frontal severed penis department.  

Yeah, the previous was OK for what it was, and I don't think anybody is really expecting much out of this.  Rob V and I have profoundly different tastes, but I still suspect this movie may very well be worth the F rating.  I'll catch it on cable or something.

So 3 double D didn't do it for ya... hell the trailer had me thinking really... really... oh god... i think they are serious....

 It is as bad as it was supposed to be.  Dante and Cameron couldn't have done it more justice.  Oh wait....

 I'll say this...I'd rather watch DD again than sit through another viewing of Mirror, Mirror.  Color me bad.  

I still want to see this...the first was entertaining, and this one looks fun as well.  Just pissed that they go to all the effort to actually make a movie, and then only release it to a handful of theaters and dump it on VOD simultaneously.  Lame.  Guess I'll wait for the 3D BluRay.

 ultra:  It really is bad.  The first was tounge in cheek bad.  This is just bad.  That said, it is a guilty pleasure.  Like a SyFy movie with more breasts and gore (and, an obigatory severed penis.)  A TRUE drive in movie in the vein of the origionals.
