Just saw the movie actually i would give this movie a B- i enjoyed the visuals and everything that didnt make sense i just reminded myself it was a fairytale. I completely believe its worth the price of admission and i have been waitting for another movie o see besides the Avengers.

deadline reports its doing better than ok ... it doesnt open in syd this weekend so i find myself with no movie to watch ... waiting for prometheus next weekend ... (no i aint going to watch the avengers again - am buying the blu ray anyway)

in other news, avengers is within a few mill of harry porter (or four eyes) and should over take it this weekend ... hang your head in shame, WB!

I thought it was ok, guess if I had to grade it it would be between a C and B- at best. I liked it but it was sorely lacking in dialogue. I liked the feel and tone  but could've been anmd should have been much better. Not the actioner I was expecting either

 Personally, I absolutely hated Mirror Mirror. If my girl wasn't with me , I would have walked out. It had not one redeeming quality. I enjoyed Snow White and the Huntsmen although I think Stewart is ill suited for fighting scenes like that. Hemsworth and the rest of the cast were pretty good as well as the story which was tons better than Mirror Mirror's. Charlize Theron was awesome as a truly evil, unbalanced queen that towards the end you actually did feel pity for. I give it a C grade. Mirror Mirror got a F from me.

Prometheus...Prometheus...Prometheus...

If someone besides Stewart had been cast as Snow White, it might have been better.  All in all though, I liked it more than I thought I would.  Less than a week now for Prometheus.  Other than Avengers, that is my most anticipated movie of the summer.

I'm hearing rather decent reviews elsewhere. And my wife wants to see this (Twilight and Kristen Stewart fan), so I will eventually be seeing it and will reserve judgement til then

didn't expect this to be any good and how anyone can find it better than mirror mirror is beyond me...sorry stewart can not act her way out of a paper bag..

I was really hoping this would be an A but I too would give it a low B.  While Theron did steal the show I didn't find Stewart so aweful as the review states.  But they could have found a better actress that could have been on the same level as Charlize.  The visual were awesome but I felt I had seen most of the cool stuff in the trailers.  And I disagree that knowing the dwarf actors so well took you out of the movie.  I thought they were very well done and the audience I saw it with seemed quite pleased and amused once they finally showed up.

My biggest beef with the story is that they seemed to want to keep showing Snow White's "magic" but it never amounted to anything.  I kept waiting for her to do something amazing in that regard by the end and she didn't.  I mean she turned back the troll with her beauty; she was unknowingly healing the dwarfs (although why the one stayed blind I don't know?), but she ends up doing nothing magical in the final battle.  It was a lame ending.

I really wanted this to be better.  Oh well, bring on Prometheus!
