Ugh, I'm so tired of that animation style.  Read Action Comics #775 finally.  Nice story.  Don't carry to see it watered down for a cartoon.

Read #775 because of all the raving reviews about how amazing and innovative it was. Should have known better. It read like a B-grade X-men story. Not sure what all the fuss was about.

Just got done watching it and im agreeing with Tevil completely on this is it was damn good and i cant believe the hate i am reading about this movie. The animation wasnt the best but it certainly didnt take anything from the movie and the only complaint i truly have is Supermans chin. I would give this a B and put this right next to redhood as one of my favorites.

I liked the story and the writing, thought Pauley P was absolutely perfect as Lois, but thought the animation left a lot to be desired.

Superman is supposed to have a moral center. That's why he's Superman...and when he gets angry, it's why it looks out of synch, because he's going against his own morals. It's the reverse of Batman...ask yourself, would you like to see Batman as a moral superhero who doesn't get upset and isn't edgy? That's why we like him because he's Superman's questionable moral opposite who gets results, just not the way Superman would or for that matter, the way we would want him to if he wanted to?

I Think the theme is relevant, putting aside all the real issues, Im going to focus on the one that I think is important, Superman-wise, which is the fact that he´s not relevant anymore, I dont think its too late, I think with the MOS movie coming out in a year and all the nay-sayers talking about how cool Batman is and what a geek Superman is. I think some people, even if this reaches a very limited audience, realize that Superman is still relevant and we need a hero like him.
