Violator, don't lose hope baby.  Nobody has come back from 0-3 but there gotta be a first.  Don't stop believing yo!

Nevermind.  Just looked it up.  Guess it's more of a setup for Captain America than the Avengers movie, although I'm sure it will stil be involved.

It supposedly can do anything, I think Diaz.

It's called the Cosmic Cube.

Just got home after seeing it and WOW!  I was blown away at how good it was.  Only saw it in 2D because I went with some friends who can't appreciate the 3D (blind in one eye and the other gets headaches).  I may go back for the 3D version.

I didn't think the Avengers set up stuff was out of place.  The only truly blatant one was the appearance of Mr. Barton.  And even that was quick.

The previews we got were pretty good too.  Capt America, X-Men:  First Class, Columbiana (mmmm ... Zoe), Super 8, Cowboys & Aliens.  Suprised we didn't get a GL or Conan trailer.

Saw it today, excellent film!  I was surprised by the little appearance of Hawkeye.  I'm wondering what that end part was though, was that a Cosmic Cube in the box?

just came back from Thor and it was GREAT! Can't wait for Captain America and the Avengers movie now.

Yeah the Cosmic Cube has a long and convoluted story but I believe there were several versions that became one. And basically the holder can shape the world and universe if they have it long enough. Pretty much the ultimate weapon in the Marvel Universe.

Saw it last night & it was fantastic. The J. Michael Straczynski cameo had me laughing in delight, though I was the only on in the theater who caught it. I may see it again since I got a free ticket. Kudos to Straczynski & Branagh for bringing Thor to life in a spectactula fashion!

Few things:

Was that a Banner referance for the scientist that shield got a hold of then dissapeared that was mentioned?

Give me a little info on this cube?

And is this a depiction of Thors true power? ANd if so how does he fit into the avenger movie with being so much more powerful then any of the other avengers thatI know of, I mean he is even more powerful then the hulk, let alone iron man, cap or hawk eye. Seems he doesnt need anyone but himself, unless the villian is so powerful to chalenge him...but that would make the other useless and just around to die lol
