Wow, I haven't seen this movie... & i'm not expecting much from it, but really Rob?  If you can't write an unbiased objective review, then maybe you need to let someone else do it.

1st paragraph - hate hate hate... nothing about the actual stand alone movie.

2nd para - "Jacob (Tayler Lautner) has apparently imprinted on the child, meaning that he basically gets to eye-fuck a six-year-old for the whole film"  mmm strong language, that venomous line really shows his neuatrality to the franchise.

3rd para - "That’s basically the gist of it: there’s a big fight coming and we gotta get ready for it. Of course, Breaking Dawn Part 2 needs to kill 90 minutes of screen time first"  Lets face it... that about sums up most action movies...  so why can't twilight use this formula as well?

4th para - well actually I won't bother continuing.  Like I said, maybe it's an ordinary movie, maybe its not?  But reading this review was like watching a Black Vs White Football match with the Tom Metzger refereeing

I'm surprised it got a D.  Sounds like he was being generous.

This review is too long winded and erudite for such a trivial film ( it's condescending).

We all know how the marking system works...

To what extant would a nerdy male between the ages of 7 and 70 think that the film is cool

Saw it with the woman and man was i bored out of my mind. Cannot lie though the ending had me excited for a second but then it was a lie.

Watched the movie yesterday and it was average (like the rest) ... around a C minus ... i'm not even sure the fans will be overtly pleased with it ... glad its over

Well, checked it out today and this was the 2nd best of the series.  NO drama with the love triangle.  Good action at the end.  The audience, which was a mix of young and old, appeared to enjoy the ending.  I was pleasantly surprised with it.  My grade would be a C , maybe a B- and that is me grading it compared to the rest of the movies in the series.  As a fan of the books and the movies, I believe the fans will be happy with this final movie.

I'd rather watch TL:DBD2 with my daughter than any Harry potter movie(they all sucked)! I started watching TL because of her but I've come to look forward to seeing them.
