Nice! I'm glad this movie is receiving positive reviews.  I would have hated to see such a good character and story get wasted on film again.  I'll be checking this out for sure.

Easily the best comic adaption this year? Well then, I will be seeing this later with a buddy of mine.

Not reading the review yet, but I will be seeing it this weekend.

Really glad to see you liked it, Rob. This is definitely one of the better, more mature comic book films out there. All hail Mangold!

Saw it last night and I loved it! I wouldn't even like to compare it to Origins. This isn't cheesy at all, it's like Rob said, internal more close to character. I also REALLY loved the fact that they made Wolverine a complete A-Hole throughout the movie. That's what I've been looking for in my film Wolverine. I know he wasn't a nice guy in the first X men films or even orgins, but there's something about his voice and his speech in this one, that hits home with the way Wolverine would talk.

I can't say it enough. Really loved this!

Curse you, Vaux!!  Now I actually want to see this, and I had thus far completely convinced myself that this was going to be another abuse and violation of Marvel's X-titles.  After the last two outtings, I had completely written off Fox's efforts at the X-Men and was just going to sit tight and wait for the inevitable re-boot (with the inevitably inferior actor playing Logan), hoping that Marvel would somehow get the rights back and do it properly as they are the Avengers series.

Now... I might have to add this to my list of summer catch-up films.

Rob says - "It's quieter than most superhero movies these days.   More thoughtful, more internal."  I'm only a casual fan of Comic Book movies(at best) and that sounds very appealing to me.  I've grown very tired of obnoxiously loud, mid numbing, special effects driven movies with silly, childish stories that make little or no sense.  Just give me something interesting, and mildly thought provoking, with a few characters that I can care about and I'm happy.
