Watched this at midnight and it was phenominal. The theater was 3/4 full with all adults, and everyone was having so much fun with the movie. Deserves the "A"

I can't wait to take my homegirl's kids to see this tonight. We're going to have some fun.  I've found that I like doing this type of stuff over going out drinking any time of the year.  That stuff is for the birds now. But what I want to know is does this warrant a 3D viewing?

I've had to sit through one rotten animated film after another.  Glad to see that this is as good as the previews.  Love the voices and the story sounds very intriguing.

Just got back from it. Enjoyed it. Not many children in the theater, mostly young adults.

Yep mostly adults at the showing wife and I saw. It was truly enjoyable. I skip 3d unless its in imax then not much choice. Since Imax is my theatre of choice. The opening short was great but aimed at adults.

I have one sort of nitpicky problem. For such a great movie why is the soundtrack so mediocre. I think we can all agree classic disney has great music. I know theres lots of love for Incredibles but I am not sure it ranks a classic. Toy Story though has timeless music. The best they could do was Rhianna, really? A few longer animated sequences with some orignal quality music and this may not be an "A", but a classic.

I thought it was really great and you'll enjoy it more if you are a gamer.

Btw, they got the arcade at Disney World.  Plays old school, like Donkey Komg.

Yeah! I just watched the movie and it was so much better than I expected. Probably the best animated film this year. So if your wife is giving you crap about this one. . . tell her your Kids are going to love it!

Hmmm.... my last post dissappeared from here.  Just watched the movie and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I brought the whole fam damily and it got a round of thumbs up.  I hope that a few shorts are added to the disc release as well.  They could definately grind a few sequels with equal punch from this storyline.  It is almost limitless.  I liked watching for all of the easter eggs and characters that populated the worlds within.  It does make me want to play an actual retro video game, especially the scene with the quarters leaned upon the screen edge.

@ decept - your idea for the music is dead on.  As for the short, after it was over, my 10 year old girl leaned in to me and said "That was a really neat animation" , so I guess that kids dig it to.  I really liked the style to, and it reminds me of another short but I can't put my finger on it.

That was a great movie, despite laughing at a few inside jokes (couldn't stop the giggle about the grafiti) and getting the evil eye from my wife and kids it was a great flick. I agree that the music may not have been the best, but it was catchy. This will be a definit purchase on blu with digital copy.
