Unlike old Doc Brown and Marty though, we’ll try not to screw up the space-time continuum because we know how disastrous that can be, don’t we?

So sit back, relax, and here we go…

Overview: Despite the fact that 3 years have passed, we still don’t have a Halo movie and the fact that Peter Jackson had the best shot at it and is currently overseeing the Hobbit films, we have to wonder if we’re going to be talking about this 3 years from now in a future Mania Time Warp article. Still, back three cycles of the sun in the realm of Mania, the trades were reporting that Microsoft was paying scribe Alex Garland $1 million to pen a screenplay of the best-selling video game series. I can see why Sean wasn't in the movie. 2 reasons: He would have been like eighty or ninety something, and the movie wasn't very good. Maybe he saw that coming and didn't want some cheesy bit part.

I hate to tell you this but the film didn't stink. It was awesome until the end, which by the way was so Tomb Raider. Aliens to monters are Lara's turf, Indy only has spooks not aliens from an other earth or planet.

I didn't say the movie stunk. I just said it wasn't very good. But Awesome it was not. It had a different feel from the very beginning and it was to cartoonish to be taken serious. I'm glad you liked it and I also had fun, but it was not a good movie. It was just some entertainment for a couple of hours and a huge decline from something that was truly good.
