The schedule of movies to be screened at the first ManiaFest genre film festival continues to grow. Recently added entries include the west coast premiere of BEYOND RE-ANIMATOR (with cast member Jeffrey Combs scheduled to attend), THE HILLS HAVE EYES (with director Wes Craven and some of the show's stars scheduled to attend) and MONSTER MAN (again, with the show's talent lined up for a Q&A event.) These three films are added to the previously announced line-up of showings which include such movies as PREDATOR, STAR TREK IV, BLADE, THE MASK, BATMAN, HELLRAISER, the original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, THE TERMINATOR and many others.
Also announced on the ManiaFest website are the feature and short film competition finalists. Ranging from science fiction to horror to thriller, these entries will also be screened during the film festival for attendees. Winners will be announced at a special event held in the evening of the festival's final day, September 21.
