DigitalBoy - I find your lack of faith distrubing...

DarthDuck, I don't like you, jakester and gauleyboy any more. And yes, I'm just jealous.
I certainly have no problems with Trek being at the top of the list. As stated in the intro, this is just their opinion, not intended to be the final word. I think it was one of the better genre movies this year. If I had any problem, it's including Avatar at #10. If you're even going to include it in the potential pool of movies (which you should), you should wait until you see it, so you can judge. If you haven't even seen it yet, don't include it. It's certainly the biggest event movie of the year. But top 10 best? Can't tell unless you've seen it first.
Actually District 9 is out on DVD next week, Dec. 22nd along with Family Guy's "Something, Something, Something Darkside!"
So lemme get this straight, bros: A bunch of you are all totally "Yeah, Avatar is the best" but you haven't even seen it yet? That makes no sense, bro. I ain't coming down on it or nothin', for all I'm knowing it may turn out to be all like the best game of beer pong ever played but I ain't saying it is until I've seen it. You feel me, bro? And then the rest of you hate Star Trek cuz it was obviously way too entertaining, is this right? Didn't get enough of nothing happening in the last several Treks?
"Captain, should we put even more boring shit into this lamefest?"
"Make it so, Number One"
Totals, Bro! You said it!
"Hi, I'm (insert nerd-boy director's name here) and you should worship my movie, sight-unseen, as everything I'm telling you it is. It's your favorite movie of all time, start acting like it. No! I don't care that you haven't seen it yet! Do as I say!"
Star Trek rocked the house, bro. For reals.
Yo, Digital Boy, if there's a lesson to be learned here it's this, bro:
Never diss a hot chick because she mispronounced a Japanese cartoon director's name, bro. If you do, well then have fun getting into your dvd collection's pants on those cold winter nights. Hope that box set's giving you the love and attention you need, bro.
Rob, at least you had the good taste to include Moon in your top 10 unlike the Golden Globe idiots.
I'm still waiting for Sherlock Holmes and the The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus before I make my final decisions. But one thing is for sure, Star Trek isn't anywhere on my list. Neither is District 9. D9 was boring as all hell, and JJ Abram's version of Star Trek was so f**ked up continuity-wise (not to mention plotwise, technology-wise, and science-wise) that it made it painful to watch...even through the multiple lens flares.
Man there are some people who really hated Star Trek. I did not know that. I haven't heard that on this sight for weeks. I am just in shock. Not really, still can't believe it though. It was a really good movie. Somebody bought these folks too much haterade for Christmas last year.
Mirasaki? Good thing they get people who know what they are talking about to do these... she's worse that Olivia Munn on Attack of the Show
