Lifeguard-turned-screenwriter Hans Rodionoff sat down with the DONE DEAL website and gave us the 411 about how he broke into the biz as well as the latest word on all his genre projects. Among the many that Rodionoff is working on are Artisan's adaptation of Marvel Comics muck-encrusted monster, MAN-THING; the second movie trip for Todd McFarlane's SPAWN; and a script based on Clive Barker's series of twisted action figures, TORTURED SOULS.
"The experience has been great so far. Everyone who's working on the project seems to have a lot of passion for it," Rodionoff told DONE DEAL.
Another Marvel property that the writer is developing is a pilot for a potential BROTHER VOODOO series for The Sci-Fi Channel. Rodionoff seems ideally suited to be guiding the cinematic versions of comic book heroes; in the piece he reveals that he taught himself how to draw from comic books.
