THE GLOBE AND MAIL covers the unveiling of a painting by controversial British artist Damien Hirst, commissioned by the European Space Agency to be taken to Mars aboard the Mars Express next year.
The painting, described as "palm-sized", is a miniature version of the artist's "spot paintings." The painting will also serve as a color calibration reference when the probe has landed.
