Rumors are swirling about who might direct the new 'Conan' movie. Now IGN.com adds Neil Marshall ('The Descent', 'Doomsday') to the list.
The site reports that they've followed up on rumors that Rob Zombie ('Halloween', 'The Devil's Rejects') is in line to direct. Their sources confirm that Zombie has, in fact, met with the producers.
This same source then offered up Marshall's name, as another filmmaker taking meetings about the barbarian king's comeback.
The pair join 'Hitman' helmer Xavier Gens, who has also been long rumored to be a contender.
However, the hiring of a director depends upon a finished script, which is underway once more with Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer hard at work.
