I still think it was a bad idea to bring back Bucky. I understand the cash cow it created for Marvel, and that the story is brillant. I just think it screwed up 40 years of continuity. I'm sure that someone could come up with a convincing story to bring back Uncle Ben,  Gwen Stacy, or even Bruce Wayne's parents. It doesn't mean they should.  I'm just glad that they're finally bringing back Steve Rogers.

store. that is not the real captain america. steve rogers is the real deal. he is still dead. bucky barnes

is doing a good job as a replacement. but,if marvel is going to bring back the original,then bucky can

give up the shield and become a new hero in his own right. maybe give him his own shield. and a new

costume. he is a good character. the one shot will show the fans who is the real captain america.

I really like Bucky as Cap, but in my mind and in a lot of other comic heads, Steve Rogers is Captain America. I think Bucky will either change his name back to Bucky or something similar. He should though, still be a big part of the Avengers, whether that be a leader of a team or something. He's no longer the loner Winter Soldier.

I've pointed this out at the Marvel boards. Especially in the Avengers threads and especially if Marvel intends to keep 2-3 Avenger titles going. They can have version of their trinity on each team. Since USAgent(Walker) is already on Mighty Avengers, Steve will be Captain America on A Avenger book that leaves Bucky to adopt a new Patriotic moniker and be the shield slinger on say a revamped Dark Avengers(you know once Osborn) is gone the book will adapt.

True there should only be one peson using the title Captain America but multiple shield slingers has already worked and will continue to work if done right. Just like Iron Man/War Machine. So Marvel give my back my Scarlet Spider(Ben Reilly) already!!

I don't want three versions of the same characters. I need only one version of the characters Iove. Thank god Marvel is keeping Scarlet Spider locked away!!

Steve is back and he'll take back command of The Avengers and I'm seriously hoping Bucky will lead a revamped Invaders team. Bucky, Namor, Torch, Toro, Union Jack, Spitfire, its time to get the band back together !
