There's just not gonna be another super team toon as good as JL; need to just admit it and move forward...

This will be an interesting venture. We'll see how this goes. I will hold judgment until then....

Thor's 'title' was changed awhile back for TV. I know it may shock you all, but Disney and Marvel want viewers from all over...including the Bible belt. With that said, God of Thunder just seems a bit too much for some close-minded people. Then again, I had friends growing up who weren't even allowed to watch G.I. Joe...until my mom told their moms there was no killing in the show.

True story.

I'll agree about DC's animation falling from grace. Green Lantern and Young Justice were favorites of mine and my kids...not to mention all of their friends at school as well. Teen Titans Go... Really DC??? Not to mention ANOTHER crappy Batman cartoon. Why not just bring back Justice League Unlimited? Supposedly there is talk about a JL movie in the next 10 years? ...or was it 20? >.<

Marvel needs to step up to the plate and quit fooling around as well. I'll give this a shot as it looks MUCH better than the new Hulk cartoon. Besides, not much else to watch in the animation department.

Netflix, get ready for a workout.

You know, I'm not going to say this is the worst thing ever.  I'll watch it.  Even though I'm not liking what I'm seeing as far as direction goes.  Just because it's animation doesn't mean it NEEDS to be made exclusively for kids.  They'll watch it anyway, it's a cartoon.

But I really didn't see a need to cancel EMH for... for this?  It seemed like they were trying to blend in movie elements in EMH(black Fury, Stark's look and act), but it was a really true creation of what actually was The Avengers.

Not that doing what was done in the movie is bad, but how much mileage will you be able to get out of it without doing a lot of what EMH was doing already?

LMAO at how some of you are getting so bent out of shape over a cartoon.  Disney XD's target audience is male viewers aged 6 to 14; might want to turn on something a tad more age appropriate if you're getting worked up about the animation and Tony Stark's voice.

Dearth bob- if your referring to the cartoon in general, I agree who really cares. There will always be a new one later. If your talking about the "prince of thunder" thing.... That's kind of major. I understand Disney wants to appeal to the masses. But Thor has been known as the god of thunder for thousands of years. It's pretty big deal that could lead to other stupid changes if its tolerated. We should not be dictated to by those that can't deal with it because of their own religion. That's not good
