Marvel's ELEKTRA Plans

Marvel Comics has announced plans for ELEKTRA, including a new art team, a mini-series and a fill-in artist.
Carlo Pagulayan will become penciler, joining inker Danny Miki in June.
"They join cover artist Greg Horn, and regular writer Greg Rucka, who's bringing a new grittiness and depth to Marvel's beautiful killer," editor Stuart Moore says. "In fact, we like what Rucka's brought to the table so much, we've signed him up for 12 more issues. ELEKETRA #11, on sale June 5, kicks off a new story, in which our female assassin has her whole life taken away -- and she wants to know why!"
ELEKTRA: GLIMPSE AND ECHO is a four-issue mini-series written by Scott Morse that launches in July.
"GLIMPSE AND ECHO is a moody tale that shows a different side of Elektra, as she investigates a call from beyond the grave -- that may herald the return of an ancient ninja menace," Moore says.
Moore also announced that ELEKTRA #9-10 will not be drawn by Chuck Austen as had been solicited.
"Chuck had to bow out of the series early due to some pressing TV commitments -- as well as his upcoming top-secret project here at Marvel), and we wish him well," Moore says. "Joe Bennett, artist of last year's AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL, has stepped in to illustrate these stories -- and he's working in a new, moody style that fits Elektra to a T."
