I could care less about Ant Man but Guardians of the Galaxy...oh hell yes. I'm digging the concept art. It has a Ralph Mcquarie Star Wars vibe.  Hopefully the line up will include at least one other member.  Let the casting speculation and rumors commence.

I've never been particularly interested in the GotG, but I still expect it to be a great movie.  This is Marvel Studios, after all.  I could wish for more info regarding the Ant-Man test footage.  Hopefully it's coming at some point.

As for the DC/WB discussion, I've lost all faith that the studio is capable of producing a watchable movie that doesn't feature Batman.  I'd love to be proven wrong at some point, but as of right now I've seen no evidence to the contrary.  Man of Steel was written by Chris Nolan and David Goyer, both of whom are great writers.  Unfortunately, they are also both known for writing dark, angry, brooding characters in comparable situations.  Superman is none of those things, yet these are the guys who were tasked to write Man of Steel.  Maybe Zack Snyder can rescue the script to make it more in keeping with what Supes should be.  We won't find out till next year.  If DC/WB can't properly handle one character, I don't see how they can handle a whole team of them working together for a JLA flick.

all this sounds really good ,the teaser for iron man sounds really cool, and the test for ant man sounded good but they will have to come up with a really good story, but i liked the sound of it,justice league could be as good as the avengers but they will have to nail it,one bad performance could sink it,but i dont yhink they need the leadin movies ,who doesnt know WW,batman, superman & now green lantern,if you think about it dc is gonna have to do about twice the heroes ,gonna have to be as long as dark knight rises maybe with a short lead in for the lesser knowns maybe via the big 3 going over potentials kinda like the ring sequence in gl

This is great news but what happened to the Black Panther?

Maybe someone can clear something up for me, as well.  I recently watched the animated Avengers movie.  It seemed to follow pretty closely with the live action movie.  The plot is almost identical.  The only difference is that Loki isn't the one bringing the Chitauris into our world.  I would say the main difference is that instead of Thor we have Giant Man and Wasp.  Thor isn't in the movie at all hardly except for a few minutes at the very beginning and then again at the end he just kinda shows up while Hulk is losing his shit.

Anyhoo, I was just wondering if they actively looked back at the animated movie and conciously pulled elements from that to put in the live action Avengers we got this summmer.  If that's the case I'm not complaining.  Both movies were great.  I was just curious.

This is PROBALLY, the next to last thing I'm gonna say about TDKR....cause I'm not gonna be like CEO two months ago and stupidly bash Batman opening week.

B.B. was a good entertaining movie, especially if you were a fanboy, cause you got all the inside references, maybe even a great movie if you feel so inclined.

TDK was an awesome movie, no questions there, except that it kinda/sorta bogged down a wee bit at the end, cause we all know Two face shouldve been the main villian in The Dark Knight Rise's.

I feel that Bane was probally forced on Nolan, just like Venom was for Spider man 3. Nolan, PROBALLY wanted to do some kind of Mr&Mrs Smith thingy, which to me, would be more entertaining than the Michael bay/Devlin-Emmerich movie we SEEM to be offered....

And as has been noted, this has been the summer of the Super Hero and to me personally (I thank you CEO, sincerely, you were almost a worthy opponent) it's been like the Super Bowl and my team was the Avengers.

To those who found me deplorable or rude....I plead extenuating circumstances...

I was only rooting for my team as hard as CEO and others were rooting for theirs.

So I wish team TDKR good luck this week but I will still hoping my team kicks your ass...

Nothing Personal, lol.

oops, that should've been...

"Nolan PROBALLY wanted to do some kind of Mr&Mrs Smith thingy with Catwoman and Batman"

Darth, I'm pretty sure Bane wasn't forced on Nolan at all, Nolan wanted Bane as the main villain.  Most fans, especially the ones who don't read the comics, can't get rid of the image of Shumakers Bane which isn't the actual Bane at all, it was Solomon Grundy wearing Banes suit.  The comic book Bane is actually a pretty deep and complex, and dangerous, character and one of Batman's Top 10 Villains of all time, possibly Top 5.  That's the character Nolan wanted and the one he's got.

I'm a little iffy on Antman.  I like Henry Pym, after all he is one of Marvels oldest heroes and an Avengers founder, but he's always been the odd fit.  Still, so far we only have a Title, until there's more there's no point in critiquing.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith featuring Batman & Catwoman, that just puts up mental images that are wrong on every level.
