I say Anne Hatheway for Catwoman.

Interesting...I would have never thought of that one, but I'm intrigued. 

Emily Blunt has nothing to do with Catwomans character.    Too bad that Michelle can't come back to repeat her role.

I don't understand all these rumors about Emily Blunt being tied to various superhero projects.  All this talk of "scheduling conflicts" is just the nice way of saying she wants nothing to do with superhero films. Which is fine for her, and fine for us, as there are plenty of other actresses who can do what she can do.

I agree with redslayer, I absolutely loved Michelle Pfieffer as Catwoman, and if she wasn't too old now it would be great to see her reprise it.  Assuming there's a Catwoman in Batman 3, that actor will have big shoes to fill.  But everyone thought Jack Nicholson would be hard to top as the Joker, and then Heath Ledger knocked it out of the park, so who knows?

I never read The Runaways, and don't care enough to be pissed off about it, but has anybody here seen "Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist"?  I thought it was pretty awful.  Hearing this news doesn't really give me any more incentive to see it beyond it being a comic book movie.

I dont really think I like Anne Hatheway as Catwoman. I think she needs to have a mystical dark quality to her like Pfieffer had. Blunt seems to have that quality more than Hatheway does IMO.

I cant really imagine wth the smurfs are gonna look like in live action, thats just weird!

 Splitmaster, I would like to see Jessica Biel in the Catwoman costume but I never want to see her in another movie.  Unfortunately, I will have to see her in the A-Team; which looks amazing!
