MATRIX: RELOADED Cannes bound?

VARIETY reports that Warner Bros. is in discussions with the Cannes Film Festival to screen THE MATRIX: RELOADED in conjunction with the film's U.S. opening on May 15.
The article reports that the festival's artistic director, Thierry Fremaux, will be arriving in Los Angeles soon to screen the film.
