MATRIX REVOLUTIONS to go on sale in early January

Distributors are advised that the movie will be on sale after the new year starts

It looks like IGN Filmforce heard the same thing we've been hearing: THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS is arriving on home video less than two months after its theatrical release. Scoopers have been writing in to say that a notice has been sent to video distributors that REVOLUTIONS will go on sale on January 6, 2004 around the globe. Expect it to be a two-disc set as well as on sale in a box set of the first two MATRIX films.

As soon as Warner Home Video releases an official statement we'll let you know the DVD's price and full specs.
