So is this a comedy? I love McBride, he steals almost all the scenes he's in in films but I wasn't as fond of Eastbound as hanso. It was ok, but more vulgar than funny IMO and just 6 episodes. What's up with that.

Adam Beechen and Mario Bello's acclaimed graphic novel 'Hench' has caught the attention of Danny McBride, he of 'Eastbound and Down', 'Land of the Lost' and 'Fist Foot Way'. McBride is set to star in and co-write the adaptation with 'Eastbound' collaborator Shawn Harwell for Warner Bros.
The graphic novel, published by AiT/Planet Lar, tells the story of Mike Fulton a washed-up football player forced into a life of crime as a henchman for a supervillain.
Original Films' Neal Moritz will produce with Jason Netter's Kickstart Prods. and McBride. Ken Levin and Ori Marmur will be exec producers.
Thanks to Antonello Blueberry for the submission.

Kenny Powers: "Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is I'm not. I honestly just feel that America's the best country and all the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism."
