McDonough WALKING TALL with The Rock

Set to start production in July

Currently seen every week on NBC's BOOMTOWN, actor Neal McDonough has agreed to star as the main villain in the remake of WALKING TALL. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is playing the part of the law-abiding Tennessee sheriff (originally played by Joe Don Baker) who goes on a crusade to rid his country of corruption for once and all.

MGM is releasing the film which is scheduled to start shooting in July. McDonough also starred in STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT as Lt. Hawk and was just seen alongside Tom Cruise in MINORITY REPORT, and is also in the upcoming time travel adventure TIMELINE.
