Comic book superstar artist and toy manufacturer Todd McFarlane has a new TV project in development inspired by his line of TWISTED TALES action figures. McFarlane would host a half-hour anthology show in the same vein as THE TWILIGHT ZONE, with its stories taking place in the realms of science fiction, fantasy or horror. McFarlane himself would host the series if it ever reaches the air.

THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN producer Don Murphy is executive producing the project, via his Angry Films production banner, along with McFarlane, Terry Fitzgerald, Rick Benattar, Susan Montford and Trey Callaway. Callaway, the screenwriter of I STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, is writing the series bible and a pilot script for Fox Television.
