I'm just getting started with my campaign against Fox, lol.....

They could get Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrision Ford to be in the next  Xmen movie, and I still WILL NOT go see it.

And I will also continue to urge anyone and everyone to boycott Fox's marvel superhero movie's......

I think this is good news. I agree with the sentiment in making that both the first Wolverine movie and X-3 be stripped from the continuity. With Famke Jensen making an appearance in The Wolverine, perhaps it will link into Days of the Future Past? Regardless, Fox is here to stay with the X-Contract. Hopefully Mark Millar will keep things in line.

I like this news; this pair are the primary reasons why the original trilogy was somewhat watchable.

I knew this was coming all along. It would be required using the older Xavier and Magneto to do the X-Men Future Past storyline no matter how they needed to alter it for the screen. We will probably also see Jackman and Halle Berry and possibly Famke Janssen, James Marsden, Anna Paquin, and Ellen Page signing up for the movie as well.

I like the great potential of this storyline and am looking forward to it. Since Matthew Vaughn isn't directing my second best choice is Singer who knows his movie X-verse better than anyone.

Rather than super faithful comic book continuity my utmost priority is a great movie experience with these films. I absolutely loved X 1st Class (watched it again last night on HBO) and if I get that or better I'm there in line.

And no I am not boycotting Fox movies.Ya can't make me. Well you could with a gun or a hefty bribe but otherwise no.

Reboot with Marvel.  Die Fox.  That is all folks.

Same old songs, different day. But thank goodness we have something like the Avengers franchise in a Fox owned Xmen world. However i still do have a lil bit of hope also that maybe they'll be able to reboot the timeline. I'd settle for an end of the movie cliffhanger, where the dust settles w/ this time travel storyline, and they reveal the real 1st class Xmen in a 1 second shot. I would probably nut in my pants for an hour straight. As the new crowd of the theater starts walking in for the next viewing, I'll still be sitting there nutting my pants with a red face and a big goofy smile. I HIGHLY doubt it though. Singer really seems to have his head up his own ass with this thing. He really loves the taste of his own ass-crack pubes.

To those who are boycotting this movie so that.... Bwahahaha... their power makes the rights revert to Marvel.
Don't worry... I'll see it twice, just for you! ;)

Always a pleasure!

Who here can honestly say that Marvel would not make a better X-Men movie series than Fox and Singer?

rogue188 11/28/2012 10:58:49 AM

Axia777, what does that matter? They don't have the license and its arguing over something that won't happen. With the hype of First Class, people will go see this and its bound to make money.

Hopefully this fixes some continuity errors. At the very least merging/fixing team issues and timeline weirdness.

I don't think they will wipe X3 from the history because the director of The Wolverine said the new Wolverine flick takes place after Jean dies and the disbanding of the X-men. So The Wolverine holds onto what happened in X3. If Jean shows up as a cameo in Wolverine, I could see them changing a few things, but X3 is still stuck in the continuity.

I'm excited about this news. I love time travel stories, but they just need to take it slow and nail the story down. No rushing into production. This can be an amazing epic X-Men film we've all been waiting for.
