Things are moving fast and furious on Matthew Vaughn's planned adaptation of Mark Millar's 'Kick-Ass' according to today's Hollywood Reporter.

The director first sought a partner in Sony, who wanted the violence toned down. Other studios who looked at it wanted all the child characters aged up.
The movie is set to film this fall.
