Don't get me wrong, I love Meat, but....Trilogy?! Doesn't that imply a story connecting all the songs together? (See: Saviour Machine's 'Legend') Not heard "The Monster Is Loose" yet, but frankly, between the title of the album ('Bat Out Of Hell III'), and the collaborators (Nikki Sixx, John 5), I think they should steal an album subtitle from The Seventy Sevens: "When Numbers Get Serious".
Yeah, Steinman and Loaf are at eachother's throats again this album, only legally this time. I forget where I found it, but shortly after news of the album first popped up on Cinescape, I found a tracklisting for the new album, and if I recall, it had several Steinman compositions on it...not new compositions, mind you, but things which had been written/recorded a while ago, and are now being covered by Meat, which I'm sure will have them looked upon as the definitive versions. I do clearly remember seeing "Bad For Good" on the track list (which for anyone who doesn't know, was the title track to the album Meat and Steinman were working on to follow up the first Bat Out Of Hell, when Meat allegedly lost the ability to sing, and Steinman finished it as a solo album, which is actually pretty good -- Steinman's not got a bad voice.)
Well, off to watch this trailer/listen to the song.
