Ikki still needs a few more points to secure his place in the World Robattle Tournament, and he only has three hours left to gain them. But the Rubberobo Gang has kidnapped his mother in an effort to lure Ikki into a trap where they can steal Metabee's medal! It's Ikki and Metabee set aside their dreams of being in the Tournament and rush to the rescue. However, when they reach the hideout, they discover there's an even more sinister plan behind the kidnapping. It's an all out robattle to the finish as the Rubberobo's throw every medabot they have at Metabee. Dr. Aki, the Screws and even Space Medafighter X join Ikki and his friends as they attempt to thwart the evil plans of the Rubberobo Gang and the surprising Dr. Meta-Evil. Don't miss the next exciting chapter of MedabotsThe Review!
The first season of Medbots comes to an exciting conclusion as the Rubberobo pushes forward full steam and captures Metabee! Dr. Meta-Evil’s plans come to fruition and only a band of Medafighters and their Medabots can save the planet.Audio:
The only audio option we are presented with is a plain English language stereo mix. There is no directionality, and all sound is sent towards the front sound stage. A heavy amount of bass is used during the show. Dialogue is clear, and no distortions were present.Video:
The video looks great, but the colors aren’t very vibrant. At times, it seems the picture is saturated by brightness. If you look really hard, you can find some macro blocking, but you really have to be looking closely.Packaging:
It’s all about Metabee as he powers up before he uses the Medaforce on the cover, with Rakushu to one side of him and Henry on the other? It’s not like Henry is that important, is he? This time we have a black background with our familiar lightning bolt. The spine features a volume number, which is also on the front cover. On the back cover, we have a description of the episodes, episode title listing including their episode numbers, and one image from each episode. The included insert has the front cover on one side, and a basic description of Rakushu.Menu:
The main menu is static and features Medabee with the introduction music playing. You can either select the start of each individual episode, head into scene selection, or choose extras. Scene selection features five different chapter points with video playing for each one.Extras:
The extras on this DVD are the same as the previous DVDs. There are seventeen character descriptions, and nineteen Medabot descriptions. This made understanding everything a lot simpler. It focuses on characters that appear on the episodes on the DVD.Content:

Continuing right where the previous volume left off, in Dude, Where’s My Ma?
, Ikki’s Mom has been captured by the Rubberobo gang, and they demand the Ikki bring Metabee to them. If they go rescue Mom though, they’ll remain in fourth place and not make it into the World Medabot Tournanment. The fun though, is on the Rubberobo gang who has to deal with Ikki’s Mom.
We continue directly into X-Treme Measures
, when Ikki takes on Space Medafighter-X in a one on one battle. How can he hope to win? All his friends (including Samantha of the Screws) pull together to equip Metabee with the best parts to help him in his battle. During the battle, the Rubberobo gang attacks and injures Medafigther-X revealing his identity at last.
In the last three episodes, the Ruberrbos begin their attack to take over the world! Rakushu, Medabee, and Arcbeetle have to battle it out with the largest Medabot of them all, Giganko.
The US first season of Medabots ends here, which is in reality episode 39 in Japan, but 26 here. There’s no filler here, as each episode here builds on one another. If you’re unsure about Medabots, I truly suggest checking this out. More Medabots, More Power. There’s definitely a lot of power in these episodes.
